The Samoa Cookhouse opened in 1890 and continues to serve lumber camp-style food. The restaurant serves family-style breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Breakfast can include eggs, french toast, pancakes, sausages, biscuits & gravy, hash browns, coffee and orange juice. Lunch and dinner include entrees, soup, salad, bread, vegetable, potato, coffee, tea and dessert. Customers can also visit the Historic Logging Museum to see cookhouse and logging memorabilia.
Directions: From Eureka, take the Samoa Bridge (Highway 255) across the bay, turn left on New Navy Base Road and follow signs to Cookhouse.
