The North Jetty is located at the southern tip of the south-facing Somoa Peninsula. The Jetty forms a left-handed sand bar with ideal conditions, creating a powerful, intermediate to advanced wave. During late fall and through the winter months the North Jetty begins to show its potential with the aid of consistent southerly offshore winds and distant ground swells.
