Little River Inn

This is where the Mendocino Coast's history and natural beauty meet. Perched on the Pacific Ocean, Little River Inn has graciously greeted guests for five generations. Surrounded by lush gardens, each room has a spectacular view of the sea. We are Mendocino's only destination resort and we pride ourselves in offering the genuine hospitality only a family can give.
The center piece of Little River Inn is the original Victorian built as our family home in 1863. These rooms are appointed with the original antique furniture. The surrounding guest rooms range from cozy to luxurious. Many of our rooms feature fireplaces, Jacuzzis and private hot tubs, and all have views of the Pacific. Family hospitality meets fine cuisine in our celebrated restaurant and Ole's Whale Watch Bar. Guests can unwind in the relaxing environs of our day spa. We also offer inspirational wedding and meeting facilities. All rooms have private baths, television, phones, wireless internet, coffee makers, room service and more.
Seasons Open: All
An Audubon Certified nine-hole golf course and lighted tennis courts are on property. Take our private trail down to Van Damme State Park where you can hike up Fern Canyon to the geological anomaly that is the Pygmy Forest. Or, cross over to Van Damme Beach to stroll or rent a sea kayak. Much more hiking, sightseeing and shopping nearby.
All pets are welcome.

We were thrilled at the thought of just being able to lounge around and eat amazing food. Well two hours after ordering i called to ask about our food. The woman on the phone lied to me about it being our fault and was condescending about our location and where to deliver it to. I about lost it when she literally told me to open the cabin door because i wasn't smart enough to realize that our cabin didn't have a number. Furthermore, I cannot believe that they would just leave us hanging for two hours without a call or contacting us simply because they failed to write down which number we were in. I find it shameful for their business and would not recommend the place to anyone. We ended up just getting a pizza after the frustration. I can understand this sort of behavior at dennys or some diner, but not if you are paying 30 dollars for an entree i expect to be taken care of. I never expect anything for free, but when left with the thought of what could they have done better given the situation, I have came to the conclusion of just not being condescending about it. That was the worst part, talking to some girl who obviously didn't care about us, her job, or anything else. Upon being in town for a couple of days i happened to find out that the head chef at Little River Inn has moved on to Silver at the wharf in Ft Bragg and that the quality of their food has decreased anyways. If you compare their menu's they are almost identical and even though i cannot speak for Little River Inn i can tell you that Silver is AMAZING. If i was you I would just bypass this place and just go to Silver. You won't be disappointed.
