Lake Pillsbury Recreation Area - Mendocino National Forest

Campsite at Lake Pillsbury Recreation Area, Upper Lake Ranger District, Mendocino National Forest

Lake Pillsbury Recreation Area is located approximately 30 miles north of the community of Upper Lake, on the Mendocino National Forest. Five family campgrounds and one group campground provide nearly two hundred campsites which are operated on lands managed by either the the U.S. Forest Service or Pacific Gas and Electric Company. Two private resorts are also located at Lake Pillsbury. Visitors may enjoy camping, picnicking, hiking, viewing wildlife, and many types of boating and water related activities. Camping fees range from $5.00 per night to $13.00 per night for family campgrounds.
