South Beach at Crescent City Harbor

Photo © Richard Young

Crescent City Harbor is California's northernmost port. The Harbor is extremely safe to enter and exit during most weather conditions as there is no bar to cross. Transient vessel mooring is available but limited in the harbor, and side tying to other vessels is prohibited. The entire inner basin is being reconstructed to feature new berths and amenities and will be completed by 2011.
