Nearshore California Coastal National Monument rocks and islets fill the small cove at South Kibesillah Gulch. These monument features range from small jagged rocks to large soil-capped islets with terrestrial plants.

A small paved parking lot accommodates the bluff overlook above South Kibesillah Gulch on the west side of Highway 1, located 2.1 miles north the Ten Mile River Bridge. Walk out less than 100 feet beyond the parking area to see the rocks to the south and take in the 180 degree view.

The pullout offers a concrete picnic table with a Recreational Fishing Alliance memorial affixed. The memorial is to Randy Fry, a 50 year old diver who was killed by a Great White Shark on August 15, 2004, while diving in these waters.
