Blue Wing Saloon & Cafe
Blue Wing Saloon & Cafe opened in June 2005. Although many patrons assume that the building is historical, it was reconstructed based on drawings of the original Blue Wing Saloon which was torn down during Prohibition. Recycled materials, including the wainscotting made of large redwood boards, a BBQ made from an antique boiler, and the long bar made from a single piece of walnut, milled from a decaying tree on the property, were used throughout the building.
Serving lunch and dinner seven days a week, the Blue Wing is a popular local dining and entertainment establishment. offering indoor and outdoor dining, on the veranda or in the garden, weather permitting. The menu changes with the seasons but always uses fresh, high quality ingredients to produce housemade soups, salads, entrees and desserts. The wines offered to guests are produced by wineries within 30 miles of the Blue Wing or are made from grapes grown within 30 miles.
Enjoy the Blue Wing Monday Blues every Monday night, Sunday brunch, monthly Winemaker Dinners featuring local wineries and the annual Blue Wing Blues Festival in the garden during the first week of August.
The Blue Wing is part of the historic Tallman Hotel next door.
